How do I check my KPLC bill on my phone?

1. Go to Equitel menu
2. Select Eazzy pay
3. Select the bank account number you want to pay from
4. Enter the KPLC postpaid paybill as Bills
5. Enter your Kenya power meter number e.g. 3778467
6. Enter the bill amount you want to pay for 
7. Enter your pin and press ok
8. Confirm that all the details entered are ok by pressing 1
9. A message from equity confirming the transaction will be sent to you phone.

How to buy KPLC Tokens via M-pesa

1. Go to M-pesa menu
2. Select Lipa na M-pesa-paybill
3. Enter the KPLC paybill number-888880
4. Enter your prepaid meter number as your account no
5. Enter amount you wish to buy tokens for
6. Enter your M-pesa pin and press ok
7. You will receive a confirmation message from Safaricom
8.  A 20 digit token number will be sent to youthrough an SMS.
9.  Insert the token number in your meter to load the electricity tokens

How to buy KPLC Tokens via Equitel

1. Go to Equitel menu
2. Select Eazzy Pay
3. Choose the bank account you want to purchase from
4. Enter KPLC token paybill as Tokens
5. Enter your electricity  prepaid meter number as your account no
6. Enter amount you wish to buy tokens for
7. Enter your Eazzy pay pin and press ok
8. Confirm all the details and press ok
9. You will receive a confirmation message from Equity
10. A token number for your meter will be generated and will be sent it to you via sms

How do I track my tokens?

In case of token delay

1. Dial the kplc ussd code *977#
2. Select prepaid services(token),
3. Select latest token,
4. Enter your meter number.You will receive the last 3 tokens that you bought by SMS.

How do I redeem Bonga points for KPLC tokens?

Kenya power and lightning company has partnered with Safaricom to enable you pay your power bills or buy electricity tokens using your bonga points. Every 1 bonga point is exchanged for 20 cents.

To redeem your bonga points for power tokens or pay your electricity bill;

1. Dial *126#
2. Select Lipa na bonga points 
3. Select pay bill
4. Enter KPLC paybill number 888888 for postpaid or 888880 for prepaid
5. Enter your meter number as the account number. Don’t include the -1 i.e. 3276849
6. Enter the amount you want to pay the electricity bill for or purchase tokens
7. Confirm the details and enter your pin number to complete the payment.
8. The tokens will be sent to you as a text message or if you were paying a power bill it will be settled immediately.
